Highly recommend this book, especially for home-study/GCSE preparation. Packed with exercises, with the answers in the back. Each section has a simple explanation first and then exercises that mean the information really sticks and confidence builds.

Each chapter gives you detailed grouped explanation and after each explanation you have the exercise/s. At the end of each chapter you have the last exercise/s to check yourself if you have learnt all types.
I studied each chapter and worked each exercise.You can check your answers and know whether you understood the lesson or not.
I was happy when I have worked out all exercises and wanted more so now I'm starting the Schaum's Outline of Spanish Vocabulary.
To be honest I don't know which one should be bought first, but only when I will work out the Vocabulary one I can tell.

As a Spanish teacher, I have found the exercises in this book invaluable for students in Years 9, 10, 11 and 12. Well worth the money!

Great guide if you're studying by yourself or as a complement to a course. Lots of exercises so you practise so much you can't help but remember the grammar.

I agree with the reviewer from New York. I have been struggling with Spanish for two years and this book has taught me more about the language in just one month. Or maybe I had lousy teachers before! Do all the exercises and you must improve.
