Practice Makes Perfect: Spanish Vocabulary (Practice Makes Perfect Series)

Lots of useful vocabulary,set out in subject areas, which is just what I wanted. Good explanations of grammar also ,from basics to improver level ,however tenses are covered by another title. The articles are up to date and genuinely interesting.The topic matter is very American and British readers may not be able to answer some questions but this does not matter as long as they are understood . You get a lot of material for the price and it is outstanding value for money.

The Spanish language books by this author are for Latin American Spanish and as such insufficient space is given to show the considerable differences in pronunciation between that of Latin America and that of Spain. The format of the Vocabulary book makes for hard work but is, I think, quite rewarding.

This book is very good for beginners and improvers just keep practicing and you should find it easy. I have purchased three of this series by Gilda Nissenberg Ph.D. and have found them to be of great help and good value for money.

We bought this book a little late, three years into living in Spain but it is still helpful. The basics we could skip over and consolidate but there was still a lot that we learnt. I personally found the 'book excerpts' very good. Good for beginners too, adult and children.

This is a brilliant way to learn spanish - am going to order this for all in my Spanish class - so easy to understand
