This has been a useful reminder of the method of teaching spelling. It has some examples of worksheets that can be given to students at the end of each chapter - an accompanying book of more exercises which are photocopiable would be a valuable supplement.

I've just bought about 30 teaching books for a new course I am teaching and this book stands head and shoulders above all the others. It is just what every busy teacher needs. It is well organised with ready to use lessons covering all aspects of spelling.
If you want a book that you can pick up and use immediately in the classroom without compromising on the quality of your lessons, this is it.
