ABOUT THIS BOOK

USER REVIEWS

Hate the american jargon though!
~ Written on Mar 3, 2006. out of users found this review helpful.

Got this for my 2 year old. Lots of lively interesting pictures. Very good at getting child to point, repeat words, and ask questions so a good one for language development. Biggest drawback is the American jargon all the way through so in my opinion wouldn't suit a child learning to read as would be confusing.

Every time it's read, there's a new discovery!

It is completely enjoyable for both my 20 month old daughter and her parents to read this book together. The fact that it appeals to both age groups is unusual in comparison to other children's books. We are fascinated by the author's use of clay to depict such everyday scenes as the park, camping, the farm, a typical street. The detail is fantastic and incredibly creative. Every time we read the book, we discover something we didn't notice the last time. This book has been invaluable to rapidly expanding my toddler's vocabulary. If you are keen for your child to learn the world around them, get this book!

Fabulous models, excellent book for children.
