Educational, Insightful, Powerful and Encouraging!

This book argues convincingly that one's intelligence can be improved by using image streaming and other methods. Win Wenger has worked in the area of accelerated learning for 25 years before he wrote this book. My personal experience has convinced me that accelerated learning has significant credibility.

For example; during an MBA program I took back in the late 1980s I had a sixteen week Micro Economics class taught by Dr. Gertmenian (affectionately called Dr. G) who believed in accelerated learning. In those short sixteen weeks he taught us the basics of micro-economics, macro-economics, and spice it with religion, law and investing. It was one of the toughest, most fun sixteen weeks I have ever had.

Dr G. explained the faster one learns, the more is retained. I found this to be true in my own life on many occasions. When have little time on a subject of interest, we are much more focused on the things that really matter. Consequently, we retain the important points. And, our brains aren't cluttered with less significant issues.

The Einstein Factor Image provides a wealth of ideas on how to improve ones mental abilities using accelerated learning. It does this by providing compelling examples of how the geniuses of yesterday and today were/are able to do what they do by using methods such as image streaming.

Wenger's upbeat tone encourages everyone to tap into their genius potential. It makes this read insightful, powerful and encouraging.

For example, in the Are You a Genius Chapter Wenger states: "Over the years, my studies have led me consistently to the conclusion that geniuses are little more than ordinary people who have stumbled upon some knack or technique for widening their channel of attention, thus making conscious their subtle, unconscious perceptions."

We all have amazing critical thinking abilities that frequently go untapped. This book, and others like it help many people to begin to realize their potential genius...or at least consider it. It won't be right for everyone. No book ever is. But, it is an important work.

The book is well researched, interesting and educational. It provides many common sense ideas for strengthening the brain. Investing time at the gym to get into physical shape is important. Equally important is investing time strengthening our brains to become more intelligent!

OK, I will keep this short and simple. This book is a load of rubbish. It contains wild claims about improving your intelligence. There is very little real or useful information in it.
Don't be a fool like I was, steer clear.

The Einstein Factor

I'm facinated with all types of learning, memory, nlp, hypnotherapy and speed reading techniques but to be honest this was rubbish.
I appreciate that the mantras "you don't understand", "you've not practiced enough" will be used but do not believe it. This book's image streaming techniques were a complete waste of time and the advice about breath/ hyperventilating I'm sure is pointless and potentially dangerous.

A Supreme Introduction For Increasing Intelligence
~ Written on Oct 24, 2002. 22 out of 27 users found this review helpful.

This book contains a great deal of useful information on Increasing intelligence, and it's true, after just 15 minutes of image streaming practice each day, described in the book, I feel more alive and intelligent.
However, the book does enunciate some set backs; image streaming, which is the method to increase your intelligence, is, lying back and imagining a distant land, where you can breath the air around you, touch the soft green leaves on the trees, see the white fluffy clouds in the red sky, e.t.c... this apparently increases the connections between neurons in the brain and increases your IQ, but it won't if you are a creative and imaginative person already, and you'll end up remembering that story and not useful facts.

The Einstein Factor spends only 2 chapters on learning the method, but the other 13 Chapters contain an abundant wealth of information, such as knowing what types of music can increase intelligence, how to get more oxygen to the brain, Photo reading, imagining putting yourself in the body of a legend ie. Albert Einstein, Churchill, Da Vinchi, Lincoln e.t.c....But it's only A FANTASTIC book from that point of view!

I have realised that for me, this book only serves ONE PURPOSE, using it in conjunction with Tony Buzan's "USE YOUR MEMORY". He states that you need to review any facts you have just learn 6 times over a period of 6 months for those facts to be instilled to long term memory, so I use image streaming.

I'd suggest ONLY, buy this book if you're are prepared to buy another book such as USE YOUR MEMORY.

Good Luck!!!
