Absolutely perfect

I was looking long time for good book about phrasal verbs. Unfortunately, there are not many books at all about this very complicated (and fascinated) aspect of English language. First, what I don't like in most other books. Almost each one is only a workbook. It means you need to have dictionary somewhere around you and look up for every new phrasal verb before you can do something with it. It is annoying at least.

This book is different. It consists of fifty units. Every unit includes eight phrasal verbs and plenty of exercises. Every phrasal verb starts from all possible forms in present, continuos, past, and past participle tenses. Then you have clear explanation for every possible meaning and at least one example for every meaning, you can see which expression can be split and which cannot, how to use them and where to use.

Be ready to slowdown, do not think it will be easy reading. It will be hard and long work but at the end, you will have much better understanding of phrasal verbs.

In addition, if you need even more exercises I can recommend Steven Wayne Collins book "Practical Everyday English". This is perfect book if you are interesting in advanced phrasal verbs.

Enjoy.

PS: May be not best book for very beginner.
