Not what it says in the title!

As the title of this book claims that it is a Braille Transcription Dictionary I had expected a list of the most common English words, in alphabetical order, and their transcription in Braille.
What it contains is just a list of symbols and contractions. It might well be a good account of what it sets out to achieve - but the title needs to be changed to reflect the content as it stands.

The Burns Transcription Dictionary

This is an excellent source of quick reference for anyone who is learning Braille.Or for those like me who use Braille infrequently and tend to forget some contractions and short forms. It is set out in a Braille to print and print to Braille, which is very helpful. The dictionary covers all letters, short forms, contractions, punctuation, symbols and signs and would be useful to those learning Grade 1 or 2.
