Smashing Little Book!

It's small but packed with so much! Great for the car or a handbag. My children are really enjoying it. It handles nicely as well (not too stiff), with very clear explanations. Lovely!

A useful dictionary.

A handy, compact book, used by hearing children & adults learning the language. The pictures provide a clear image of hand position, shape & movement accompanied by a written explanation & word meaning. Basic alphabet information is included as well as useful contact details & other books available. Large enough that the writing & hand images are clear, although small enough to fit in a back pocket.

Good helpful little book

This little book is so handy, explains the signs well and is easy to follow, if you are studying British Sign Language it is very helpful and managed to get me through my course and exam!

Have also used as an aid along side baby sign, which I have to say was a big help with my toddler when first learning to speak and communicate.

Well worth having

A very handy little pocket book

The day after I bought this little book I was asked directions by someone who couldnt hear or speak, which made me think very deeply about the need for everone to have the minimal knowledge of some sign language.

So Everyone should have a copy of this very handy little book with some really good drawings clearly showing the signs.

We have had great fun too using the drawings as guessing games for children and adults. Many of the signs are obvious - for example yes and no and stop so anyone would be surprised that with a little thought we can all communicate a bit in sign language.

A book for every home, do get it, it is fun.
