This book is very detailed and brings up some great points about flipping houses. Some stuff I didn't consider was mentioned in this book. I highly recommend it.

I thought this book was very informative and flows very nicely from beginning to end.

The authors offer many suggestions on what to look for or what to do as far as finding, choosing, and flipping a house.

They go through the entire process from beginning to end following a flow chart that they have created. Sure most of it is common sense, but it is all layed out here for you in a way that can help prevent you from missing a step which of course could cost you allot of money in the long run.

Definitely one of the better books I have read on flipping houses, it may not be the best book out there , but it is the best I have read.

Teaches and Motivates

This is the BEST book on making money flipping houses... by far. I have had a broker's license for 30 years now and been buying property since I was a junior in college. I know a lot about fixing and remodeling, but these guys make it an analytical, step-by-step system of A through Z of making money in real estate. If you follow their approach, it will work! But the other thing I found inspiring about FLIP was that it motivated me to get out there and do more. With all the check lists and calculations and good old fashioned common sense advice they add... it makes you feel like you have and even greater opportunity to profit from all your own hard work, and theirs for doing and writing this book.

The best book on flipping
~ Written on Aug 17, 2009. 2 out of 2 users found this review helpful.

This is an excellent book. The strategy is to buy properties below their values, improve them, and sell them at a profit. You do not need to rely on appreciation to deliver results. I particularly liked Chapter 6, Estimating Improvement Costs. Watching other investors, I see that most people underestimate these costs and find themselves either losing or making very little profit. The author advises investors to get an experienced general contractor to manage the construction especially on your first flip mainly because they know these costs better. The author says that estimating costs is difficult because there are hundreds of construction tasks that require different materials plus an unknown number of labor hours. If you want to get into flipping houses, this book will save you lots of headaches.

Clear cut and easy to follow

As typical of the Millionaire series, this book was easy to follow and provided lots of step by step instructions. While I know that this book makes it look and sound easy when it isn't always either, it's definitely a great reference for anyone wanting to start Flipping houses. With the real estate market starting to turn around, now is the time to jump in and start flipping, prices are starting to move upward and this book will tell you how to look for your flips, how to evaluate them, how to fix them, and importantly, how to sell them when you are done. It doesn't ignore the holding and selling costs that are often ignored in the flipping shows on TV.

So my advise, if you are thinking of flipping houses for the first time, or improve your methods of flipping, pick up this book and read it. It's easy to read and you'll find lots of gems to use right away.
