Cute as are all the "Stinky Face" books but would have liked to see it a bit longer.

My boys (7 and 5) love the book "I Love You Stinky Face". I saw this book right before school started and thought it would be great for us to read it together. It was a hit! Plus it deals with the little boy's fears about kids being nice, being sent to the principal, etc. The pictures are wonderful and the consistently calming and reassuring responses of the mother are priceless. A new one for our favorite list!

Not As Good As the Others

I didn't like this Stinky Face book as much as the first two. This book strays a bit from the format of the first ones, so you don't have to turn the page to get the mother's response. It seems more forced to me.

My son (4.5) made me read I Love You Stinky Face about a hundred times when we first got it. We've read this one exactly once.

If you have a kid who procrastinates for school read this!

This cute, playful book about a little boy who makes every excuse and I MEAN EVERY excuse not to go to school. Through them all, his mother finds solutions to his outrageous hypothetical situations. He suggests crazy things like what if the teacher turns into a witch and casts a spell and his mother immediately responds that she knows how to undo spells. Delight yourself and your child with this wonderfully illustrated book about a little boy who will make you believe anything could happen in a day at school.
