Great when you want to start testing

If a book has Eisenberg as author you know it is a good buy! This book is great for everyone who wants to get started with Google Optimizer. After going through it I was able to set up a test plan for my website and we are ready to go! Good insights and valuable tips written by the top of the class in online marketing! Another book I recommend to read with this one is: Webanalytics an hour a day by Avinash Kaushik.

i have never seen a book where a typical chapter is only 3 pages long. of which, an entire page is used to list a useless checklist. In the end, it is nothing but a hodge, podge collection of articles instead of having a real structure.

the book is a real dissapointment. You would expect authors to talk from their extensive 10 years of experience. instead, most of the book is devoted to generic or useless information.

looking at the impressive list of people flogging this book kind of makes you wonder what really happened.

I liked this book bout would very much have liked to see a lot more How To which is skimmed over.

But for all that it didn't address my particular needs I still think it's very good.

I own and read the books previously written by the Eisenberg brothers. They are are a must read, if you are serious about your web site as a business and to learn how to better understand the needs of your customers to be able to better fulfill those needs and as a consequence make them happy, get more customers and at the bottom line more business and more profit for yourself. A win-win deal.

This book fits nicely into the whole process of accomplishing this goal. It shows you how to use a technical tool, such as Google Optimizer to help you understand how people are using your site and to test improvements to it over time to make it easier to use, more compelling and most importantly, better converting.

The book is not limited to the bare technical features of the free Google tool and how to implement them. It also helps you with everything else around it, which is not that technical at all. It provides you a short version of the Eisenbergs proven "persuasion concept", which you can further explore in their previously published books, like the NY Times best seller "Call to Action: Secret Formulas to Improve Online Results" or the sequel "Waiting for Your Cat to Bark?: Persuading Customers When They Ignore Marketing".

Online marketing guides this good never become irrelevant - that is, so long as Google remains relevant.
