Grandfather Twilight (Paperstar Book)

This book was a favorite of mine as a child and now I read it to my daugher all the time. She loves that beautiful pictures and gets excited to see the dog follow Grandfather twilight. Such a calming a peaceful story to tell children before bed.

I purchased Grandfather Twilight as a gift for my little girl when she was only 5, so many, many moons ago. Books are important, and I was beginning her library. She loved this book. She is now 30 years old, and I read this story to my granddaughter, her daughter. I have now purchased another book as a gift to our dentist. He and his wife have 3 beautiful little girls, and I know this book will become an important piece of their little hearts. Thank you so, so much, Barbara Berger, for such a hearfelt story, one that even makes me close my eyes and smile, knowing that life truly has magic.

I was unfamiliar with this book, which was given to us as a gift after the birth of our son. I have given it in turn as a gift. The illustrations are enchanting; the storyline sweet and magical. A wonderful bedtime read that parents will enjoy as much as their child(ren). Makes a lovely keepsake gift.

I am so picky when it comes to children's books, and this one is absolutely perfect. Fantastic illustrations, beautiful story. My almost two year old wanted me to just read it over and over, and she's clearly very enchanted by it, as am I.

This is a fabulous book that every family should have for their very little ones. I think it's the best "good-night-go-to-sleep" book ever written. The text is poetic; the pictures are beautiful. It's well worth what it costs. I must have bought a dozen of these by now as gifts for new parents.
