Learn Spanish the Fast and Fun Way (Fast & Fun)

This text book along with the CD's was very easy to follow and understand. The only reason why this did not get 5 stars from me is due to the fact that it is marketed as a beginners Spanish book, which it is, but it is geared toward someone who would be traveling to a Spanish speaking country in Europe. I would like to learn more Spanish that I could use in America comfortably. I did not need to know all the "tourist" expressions that this book was teaching me. If you are going to a European country where Spanish is the native language, then you are in luck and this is a great book. Not so good for the American trying to learn a second language for everyday use.

I was looking for a workbook to accompany some CD's I purchased on Craig's List. Overall, I like the book. I especially like the pronounciation key for new words. I like the pictures as well. The book introduces a lot of words in every chapter. I write new words at the end of each chapter for me to review when I pick up the book the next time. It takes me about an 1-2 hrs to review the list of words from the previous chapter and read the next chapter. Its good for a long bus ride in Peru but may get tedious at my home.

Excellent. Easy to follow. Not confusing or boring. I would recommend it to anyone interested in learning Spanish.

This was more focused on how to travel in Spain but the activities were pretty good. I used this book for a class.

This book is ok as a basic teaching guide. Sentences written in Spanish are not always converted to English which makes it harder to learn. The CD's tend to jump around and don't always follow the book.
