We have made a number of improvements to UsingEnglish.com over the last few weeks, some of which have gone unannounced. This is a summary of the main areas which we've added to or updated recently.

We have just completed a major overhaul of the members' area Irregular Verbs section, including brand new ways to view the list and a new printable verb list.

Well, now there's a surprise: our web-host has completed the upgrade to our server! What's more, the site is running better than it has done for years!

We've just spent a good deal of time working on the ESL handouts that we provide. We decided that it needed a bit of an overhaul, and as a result we made a few changes.

Just a quick note to say that we have now made answer sheets available for all of our ESL teachers handouts and their corresponding quizzes. :-)

We have now added random English language polls to the Teachers and the Handouts pages. Random polls will be displayed on the left of the pages when they are opened in the same way that they appear in Testing.

We have added a new section containing articles about ESL\EFL in China, written by Niu Qiang, PhD and Martin Wolff, J.D.

We have updated the ESL Teacher Handouts, Grammar Worksheets & Printables section. Firstly, we have added a considerable number of new English language quizzes to the section, both in the public and the members' areas.

Due to a temporary loss of data from one of our databases, pages in the Language Quizzes and Teacher Handouts areas of the site have experienced errors. The data has now been restored, and both areas should now be back up and running again.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

During the month of November, 2003, UsingEnglish.com enjoyed a record-breaking month with statistics being smashed in almost every area!

One day whilst searching Google I stumbled across a site called The Language Key, a monthly self-study business English magazine and language training centre in Hong Kong.
