My role at UsingEnglish is mostly to do with the technical aspects of the site, including site design, maintenance, development and marketing. We started UsingEnglish.com on February 18th 2002 and since then we have grown bigger and faster than we ever hoped to dream.
Of course, it took a few weeks before we were ready to submit the site to the search engines, and another few weeks for our site to start appearing in search engine results.
A good proportion of these visitors are going to the glossary and forum areas, which just goes to show you how valuable and popular they are.
