Quick reply is faster to load because it doesn't have to load the HTML editor, so it's convenient for people answering a lot of posts. However, it doesn't have all the tools that the Post Reply feature gives you, though you can include smilies and formatting if you knoe the codes. As I have to try to answer a lot of posts, I use the Quick Reply a lot.
