Default get around to (gerund / infinitive)

Hello,
Need some help wiht these phrases which one is correct:
I got around to refurbish my kitchen
I got around to refurbishing my kitchen
I have seen in a lot of sites the gerund form after the phrasel verb "got around to" is it correct?
