Writing instructions Hello!
I must write some instructions for a complex 2-step exercise:first, the students have to fill in the blanks with the correct tense of the verbs written in bold type in the crossword clues coming below the text proper, the text being a joke; second, they have to complete the crossword using the tenses they have found and solving the extra clues, which, in fact, help them get the right tenses.
Are the following instructions clear: Reconstruct the joke using the appropriate tense of the verbs below in bold type. Then, check your answers by solving the crossword and using the same tenses.
I designed an exercise to practise derivation with the help of suffixes, and was wondering whether the title is OK: A Wonderful Word-Generating Machineor should I say ... Words-Generating...
Thanks,
