Hello! I am conducting a research in English linguistics, which concerns with a certain type of N of N phrases like ‘a giant of a man’, ‘a love of a child’, ‘a monster of a dog’, etc. I collected a considerable amount of data with the examples of use of such types of phrases from the fiction books, but I would like to have a native speakers’ response (which is quite hard to do in this part of Russia I’m living in).
