RFID is Radio Frequency ID Mike. It's the next step up from bar-codes, and allows (say) an unmanned fork-lift truck to behave intelligently (picking up a pallet with the right goods on it) [or even a manned fork-lift truck, now I think of it; a voice in the cab could say 'Not that one bozo, it's empty.' ] I think Walmart use it.

I have just started to work with Mr. Hwang on the subject of RFID anyway

Depending on how far advanced your RFID plans are, you could also say

I have just started to work with Mr. Hwang on the RFID implementation/plans anyway

If you wanted to get extra points for colloquial usage (this is state-of-the-art Computer Weekly language) you could say "the RFID roll-out".
