Yes, it is a common technique for fooling spam filters.
However, I should point out that it is not a good idea to open spam mails. Depending on how your e-mail program is configured, it is possible for an e-mail to send a message to a server when it is opened, thus confirming that your e-mail address is valid, active and regularly checked. This can result in your getting even more spam. |
