• With the loopback test, you can check the working state of an ADSL port.
• You need to connect the subscriber line to a resistance with 100 ohms when performing the HYBRID loopback.
• The loopback command only applies to the deactivated port. In addition, the ADSL port does not support remote loopback because it is asymmetric.
• The local loopback test has three types: UTOPIA, AFE and HYBRID.
• The loopback types supported by each ADSL card are different: some may only support UTOPIA, while others may support the three types. If the loopback type specified for a card is not supported, the system prompts the loopback failure.
