Default how to talk about ones faults and the makeup?

Imagine . I have a friend. I took part in a make up competition and the friend was my model. Now I want say that "I wonder how is doing my friend (whom I gave makeup???) in a competition. Help! I seem to have a great trouble with "make up" in general. Can Isay "Can I do your make up?" "Can I make up you?" The other thing. If I want to say that I have a great moral fault I say "My vice is..." but what about forgetting names? Can we call it shortcoming? I would say "I have this thing: I forget names" but what about "I have a fault: I forget names "? It sounds a little artificial to me. And what about "I have a flaw: I forget names"?. Help! Thanks for your patience!
