Forgetting names is not a vice. It could be a shortcoming, but I would just say that I have a problem remembering names.

A good figure of speech you can use in this sort of case is 'I've got a memory like a sieve' [pronounced /sıv/]. Informally, you can drop the subject/verb, roll your eyes, and say 'Memory like a sieve'
