::Yes, I find it a bit too wordy. Try "We are glad to inform you that we will take your advice." However, why are you glad about informing?
::or try "We write to inform you that we are happy to take your advice (in this matter)"
:: or just "We are happy to take your advice (in this matter / regarding...)."
::It depends on exactly where you use it, but saying that you are both 'glad' and 'happy' in the same sentence seems a bit much to me.
