Tdol, the sequence of operations you described is exactly what I do in other forums – successfully. Here, if I see something interesting, the only way to copy it is the following:
1. Click “quote” while online.
2. Highlight the quoted message or its part (either on- or offline).
3. Drag the highlighted message or its part into my file.
The right click does not provide the “copy” option either on the message or its quote.
It’s even impossible to highlight a piece of a post unless it’s quoted. If I try to do it, all the page – from the cursor to the very bottom is highlighted.
I wrote about it long ago and didn’t get any reply. I thought I couldn’t do it because I’m just a dummy, but now, with much more experience, it’s the same.
I didn’t want to pester Red5, I thought there might be some technical problems.
BTW I still don’t understand how to use multiquote. Tried experimenting and failed.
