 Re: modal verb
There's some disagreement about exactly which verbs to call modal- some exclude 'ought to', others include it:
Definites: will, would, can, could, may, might, must, should, shall
Others: ought (some dispute this), need and dare (some uses)
I wouldn't say that plot is the style- the story and the way of writing are not the same. |
