The door was opened minutes ago, so the door is [being] opened now.

I waited for the shop to be open. (variation on "to open")
I waited for the shop to be opened. (for someone to open it)

When I went to the shop yesterday,
it was not open.
it didn't open. (The shop didn't open ) (The door didn't open )
it was not [being] opened.

Hope that helps.
Thank you. I understand most of the usage of open now.
but I have something unclear about use.

Question :
1) Be open is related to state and be opend is to action. Right?

2) The store didn't open.
The door didn't open.

But, what is the difference between The store didn't open and The door didn't open.
