Default correct verb

1. What a surprise! You are still here. I thought I wouldn't see you again unless I fly/flew to Chile to see you.

2. What a surprise! You are still here. I think I won't see you again unless I flyto Chile to see you.

If sentence 1 or 2 correct? If sentence 1 is correct, which is the verb I should use, fly or flew?

Thanks in advance.
