So am I right if I say either 'I am going for holiday to Provence this summer' or 'I am going on holiday to Provence this summer' ? Both are equal?
Thanks.

The first version would be better as :'I am going for a holiday to Provence this summer' or 'I am going to Provence for my holidays this summer.'

You could also say 'I'm going to holiday in Provence this summer.'
