I didn't know advice was uncountable. Are you sure about it?
This is what I have found.

n.

1. Opinion about what could or should be done about a situation or problem; counsel.
2. Information communicated; news. Often used in the plural: advices from an ambassador.


I googled the word "advices" and found 5.480.000 results.
Maybe the use of the plural is recent, could it explain so many results?
