Spanish colonist has stayed in the Philippines for such a long time, 3centuries I believe influenced majority of the Filipino Culture and language, some of them I don't like and others acceptable.

also we use: uno, dos, tres, kwatro, singko, sais, syete, otso, nweve, dyes... which I believe is Spanish... | Of course, you can try to find similarities between your language and Spanish. Here we speak about similarities between languages in general too.  |
