As Ron said, an attribute is something that describes someone.

Tallness, smallness, deepness, darkness, etc. would all be noun attributes.

Abstract nouns that are in the area of concepts/ideas would be freedom, liberty, justice, equality, art, etc.

Qualities would be strength, beauty, poise, stamina, etc.

Conditions would be sanity, poverty, health, etc.
