Default Correct reflexive form?

Regarding the quoted sentence below, is the correct verb phrase "is forecast," or would it be "is forecasted?"

I can usually decide these things just by the looks right-looks wrong method, but not with this one. I am leaning toward the verb form as shown below.

Please provide a reference authority if you have one. Thanks!

"Katrina is a category five storm, is less than 24 hours away, and is forecast to be New Orleans worst-case scenario (Ford, 2005)."
