Default Re: meaning of an idiom

A person has so many things to get done, and is frantically trying to get them all done before some deadline. As he does so, it seems as it time flies by. He might say, time's gone mad, or time's gone crazy, meaning that instead of the usual measured way in which time progresses, it is like it has gone crazy and speeded up.
