Default Re: I Need Some Advice

Did you find analyses or commentaries on the poems?

If these are likely to be discussed in your oral, the interviewer will be interested in your personal interpretations and understanding.

It is important that you spend time reading the poems, noting down what you understand the poet to be saying, and thinking about how the poems make you feel or think.

Once you have notes, practice saying them. Stand in front of a mirror, and read your notes aloud. Go on doing this until you no longer need to think about saying them.

Keep your sentences short and simple.
