Dear Tam,
In just a week, my school starts its holiday, and I'll be coming to stay with you. I'm really looking forward to seeing/meeting you and your family. This will be the first time I will have been outside Singapore and I'm very excited about it.
My home, Fujian, is not the biggest but it is the most famous city. People here usually speak Hokkian rather than Mandarin. It is surrounded by (???) a lot of villages and small towns. Fulian is not a usual destination for tourists, but there are still some places to visit such as temples, mountains, and so on. Moreover, the air is really fresh and cool. In addition, you can find many good Chinese restaurants and shops here.
I'm sure your country has a lot of attractive places too, and I can't wait to see it.
My mom is calling me, so I can't write any more to you. Please reply to my letter soon.
