somebody and anybody Dear teachers,
The following two sentences are from my textbook:
No.1 Everybody on campus except me knew that the professor had five sets of examinations, which he used in turn.
Can I use "No one" in this sentence?
No.2
No opportunity is lost---- someone else picks up the ones you miss.
Can I use "anyone else" in this sentence?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thank you in advance.
