Your first answer corroborated my initial speculation concerning the importance of the difference in the degree of the illness by determination of the patient’s condition namely “in a normal state”, “in good condition”, “out of condition”, “past cure or in a hopeless condition”.

Thank you also for the explanation concerning my second question. It sounds verisimilarly.
