It is not difficult for me to replace your words, with perhaps, a more appropriate word . . . it is easy for me as I am English.
You have a superb command of the English language and I feel, at times, a little heavy-handed in making so many small adjustments to your narratives . . . they are well written, interesting, amusing and tender. - Thank you for sharing them.

As for IKEA and the sausages . . . now I understand . . . do you know I have never been to IKEA, although there are plenty of stores here . . however, in the narrative it does not explain it very well and to have furniture and sausages side-by-side seemed rather bizarre!
