I request senior teachers/members alike to give some steps or an algorithm to readily grasp the usageof past perfect tense in lenthy passages. Most of the English laguage users who use english as a second language, I think may have this problem.

I hope visitors of this thread who use english as a second language may raise their doubts regarding p.f.t in lenthy passages citing a few examples.
