Sorry, I don't mean to be impatient.

I'm agonising over the sentence below, the part in the bracketts.
It sounds odd to me, as if something/some word is missing. Is the sentence correct or not?

Every day (passes is from our lifetime)


I would appreciate it if a native speaker could help here.
