Pastrami is a type of smoked/cured meat found most often in delicatessans in the US. It is used to make sandwiches. (It's high in cholesterol, so very unhealthy, but oh so delicious!!) In Canada, they call it "smoked meat."
A May West is a cream filled dessert cake popular in Canada. It has chocolate frosting, though, which Twinkies don't.
