I'm afraid you're mistaken Ahmed. I speak British English. What's more, the link I gave you was to the Cambridge English website - Cambridge English being British English.
IMHO, I think both hyphenated and non-hyphenated are acceptable. ;)
P.S. Say 'Mine is British', not 'Mine is a British one'.
