sentences aftter second conditional Dear Teachers,
We all know we should use "if + past tense , ~~ would~~" to form a second conditional sentence. However, I don’t know if I should always put past tense or “would” in the following sentences that are related to the hypothetical situation.
For example: If I were the president, I would cut down the amount of tax. I always think tax is quite high in my country, so I (will/ would) definitely do it. In addition, as long as I (am/ were) the president, I (will/ would) treat education as my first priority.
