Dear teachers,

1) Would you please check my sentence ?

Rather than lose precious sleep discussing the mortgage facilities now, I think we should go to bed and talk about them in the morning. (correct ?)

2) Would you please give me examples where such verbs as sell, read, prove, (any more, please?) can be used in the active voice while having a passive meaning? What do we call that in grammar ?

e.g.: The Rhine doesn’t show. = The Rhine can’t be seen.
