Hi teachers,
I notice that the word "bloody" is commonly used in Britain than in any other countries. I can hear it all the time from the mouth of British. I remember my English teachers used to make fun of me and called me "Bloody awkward",he was Scottish,by the way. He was a funny nice guy though.
Back at that time,my English was much worse than i am now. I just understood it roughly as "very awkward". Maybe I was wrong.
I know the usage of this word may not be nice in situations but I don't understand this usage completely. Can u tell me the equivalent words and usage in AE?
