 are the corrections made by the teacher necessary
Dear teacher,
My English course teacher made some corrections which i am writing down below along with the original text that i wrote,
1)my text: Boys' and girls' ages are a matter of minor importance, but the best thing is the harmony between two partners.
Teacher's correction: Boys' and girls' ages matter? The best thing is the harmony between two partners.
2) My text: I hope you will advise me to go in the same directions (that is, marry a girl who is older than me… this is my explanation of the context)
Teacher's correction: I hope you will advise me to go on with my plans.
3) My text: You're right in saying that Matters like boys' and girls' ages should be of minor importance.
Teacher's correction: You're right in saying that age difference is of minor importance.
Please make it clear whether i wrote right or wrong and also describe that Teacher's corrections were necessary or unnecessary.
