Hi Afhan_85

It's always a good idea to start a new thread for a new question for maximum exposure, but - you can do that next time!!

It means...

JUST before you say it, before the words leave your mouth - they are gone.

"It is on the tip on my tongue" - when you can ALMOST remember what you want to say, but you have forgotten. Very frustrating!

A variation is:

"It was on the tip on my tongue" - when you were / are almost about to say something, but stop. Often when you are just about to say something you may regret, or will cause offence.
