Default Using Present and Past Participle to be the Subject

Dear all,

Well, I'm really confused in choosing the Present or past participle although I know the resent pariciple is for active voice while the part participle is for passive...

The original sentence:
As I am interested in Japanese culture, I hope that they'll open a Japan xone next year.

so the answer is : Being interested in Japanese culture, I hope that they'll open a Japan xone next year.

and the second question is: I am bored with the games there so I leave quickly.

and the answer is: Bored with the games there, I leave quickly.

Then, my question is, both of them are adj of emotion, and for the first one, I am interested by the Japanese culture and same as the second one, I am bored by the games, so why I have to use present participle in the first sentence but part participle in the second sentence?

it's very urgent, thank you for your kindly help!!^^

Junie
